Catalogue takes the form of a file folder envelope containing postcards of black-and-white installation views of the exhibitions; four loose leaf bundles with printed bands containing approximately twenty "Lost Worker" clock-in cards each and printed individually with the worker's name; five multi-color folders which contain the following: a twenty-eight page list of Swiss people who died in Canton of Valais, Switzerland in 1991 ("Liste des Suisses Morts dan le Canton du Valais en 1991"); a four page single fold text on the work of Boltanski titled "Death and the Duck-Rabbit," by John Hutchinson; a sixteen page interview between Boltanski and Paul Bradley, Charles Esche and Nicola White; an eight page list of lost property at Tramway, Glasgow, recorded between March 1993 and January 1994; four heavy weight loose leaf perforated pages featuring images of the lost property within each area of perforation and stamped with the date of loss on the verso; a picture of the Mackintosh Library, Glasgow School of Art; and a loose leaf acknowledgements page.The envelope itself has a printed colophon and table of contents on interior of flap which is embossed with the title.
